Only in Massachusetts

So a food delivery guy gets robbed in Boston. Boston, being the home of some of the crappiest disarmament laws in existence, is a fabulously safe haven for crooks, muggers and other such predators. Delivery guy gave up $200, which, I'm guessing, for a delivery guy is a buttload of money.

And this is where things get interesting.

Police said delivery-driver Welliston Froes, 23, of Everett, was near Washington and Northampton streets Wednesday about 8:30 p.m. when he spotted the alleged thief he said had stolen $200 from him during a delivery. The driver confronted the suspected robber and pretended he had a gun, police said, while ordering the man to return his money. The alleged robber, now victim, bought the gun act and passed the delivery driver $160.

Though he was short-changed, police said, Froes returned to his restaurant. But the man he had allegedly robbed in retaliation followed him there and called police.

So delivery dude did NOT have a gun, but pretended he did in order to get his money back from the thug who victimized him. And for pretending he had a gun - not even for HAVING one, but merely lying to the scumsucking "alleged" robber - delivery dude gets a trip to the pokey.

Not only that, but he gets charged with armed robbery!! Armed with what?? A finger?

I swear! Is this retarded city really supposed to contain the Cradle of Liberty? Seriously? It's more like the cat food dish of catatonic cluelessness!
